With a hint of red pepper heat and a sprinkle of Southern Grove Sunflower Kernels, this bar is an exciting twist on a classic snack.

The Flaky Nutter Bar

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of Kellog’s Frosted Flakes

  • 1.5 cups of Jett Puff Marshmallows

  • 1/4 cup Jiff Peanut Butter

  • 2 tbs butter

  • .5 tsp of Crushed Red Pepper

  • 1/8 of a tsp of Course Ground Black Pepper

  • 1/4 well-rounded cup of Nestle’s Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

  • 1 tbs of Milk

  • Southern Grove Sunflower Kernels

Instructions:

Add Marshmallows, peanut butter, butter, crushed red pepper, and black pepper in a medium-sized bowl.

Microwave 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds.

Stir until ingredients are well blended.

Add the Frosted Flakes.

Stir till well coated.

Pout onto parchment paper and mold into a square or rectangle.

Add semisweet chocolate chips and milk to a small bowl.

Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until melted and shiny.

Pour and spread chocolate on top of the flakey bar.

Top with salted sunflower kernels.

Freeze for 1 hour.

Cut into Squares.
