Angel Deliveries
Angel Deliveries are unique gifts for everyday “angels” who positively impact their communities. Since 2015, we've made over a hundred deliveries. And we're just getting started!

the Dog's Home Alone. Right before we left for NYC, our dog sitting arrangements canceled. We were in a panic. Ben had hurt his back that week, and has only been boarded once for a couple days. At 13, 10 days is a LONG time, completely unsure what to do I tossed it out to my FB village. Within a few hours, a wonderful family volunteered. Ben had the time of his life living in the country and our family could rest knowing our fav Lil guy was safe and spoiled. In Home Alone 2, Kevin receives a set of turtle doves in NYC as thank you for donating to the children's hospital. He shares the gift with a woman in the park who cares for the pigeons as a symbol of their connection. We hope these two little dogs remind you and those you love of your true connection.

The Flowers that Keep Giving. My dad's family sent me the most beautiful gift of flowers while I was recovering from surgery. They were stunning! Maybe it was the flowers? The love? The cooler temps? One week later they were still flawless! When it came time to leave, I placed them on the table with an Angel Delivery note. Our airbnb was PERFECT for us, sparkling clean, and safe. It seemed like the perfect way to thank the housekeeping staff. Sponsor: the Fredericksons

Grow w the Flow. While staying in NJ, we had a neighborhood DJ. Every night, you could count on a fresh new list of music erupting from an old school boom box with some of the best remixes we've ever heard. Every night around dusk the personal neighborhood concert would begin. With good cheer he greeted all the neighbors as they returned home, often he recieved high fives and inquirries on his family. Some angels have a way of creating an atmosphere, composing the perfect sound track for people to live the movie of their lives. Gift included: angel ornament, grow w the flow notebook, and a costume jewelry ring.

Johnnie Park It. Street parking was part of the deal with our airbnb. Circling blocks, trying to follow the rules, Johnnie noticed. Our neighborhood was super welcoming, we felt so at home despite the miles. Johnnie: you realize this is your spot right? Us: ...it says no parking. Johnnie: Yes! No parking unless you are staying there, pointing to our place. This is your spot. Just move your car during street sweep time and you're good. Sometimes the best angels tell you when and where to park it. Thanks angel, for being our Johnnie on the spot! Delivery included: Bobby's world toy (he's driving a wagon) and a trophy.

The Royal Treatment. Pulling into a unusual to us parking lot, that offers "lifted" parking (your car literally rides an elevator) we rolled our window down at the same time as the gentleman next to us. Without missing a beat he says "Pardon me, but would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?" We laughed and laughed together. "I've always wanted to say that!" "I have always wanted someone to ask!" God love an Angel valet with a great sense of humor; Anchillo is one of the best! Delivery included crown, trophy, and a super star stamp.

Huey in the Balance. Angel Delieveries are their own brand of magic. I am just the messenger who delivers them. In my bag, I added an Angel Delivery with a pre-written letter the other day. Surprised I remarked to my husband, that this one is very unusual it is pre-planned - it already belongs to someone unknown to me. Today, I found him. It took 3 pharmacies and a trip into the city to get the antibiotics I needed. But there was my angel shinning as bright as the sun. Walking into the pharmacy, this gentleman w a heart as large as the city, opened the door for me. Exiting, I thanked him again for holding the door, remarking he didn't know how much I appreciated it. I needed to wait 15 mins and return to pick up the script. This time, I was prepared - angel delivery in hand. As I exited a 2nd time, he held the door again, I stopped. I explained I just had surgery and couldn't open the door by myself, and just like an angel he appeared, opening the doors to healing for me, a stranger, twice. We chatted as I handed him his angel delivery. "No one has given me a gift in a long time..." "I don't know how to say this Huey, but God sees you and he sent me as proof. Can I hug you?" "Yes!" And there in the streets of NJ I hugged an Angel named Huey.

The Promise Keeper. We saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child yesterday on Broadway. Seated in the darkness, we could hear the young woman in her 20s behind us completely enthralled with the show - she exclaimed and gasped at all the right moments. During intermission, she leaned forward blushing "I am so sorry if I disturbed you, I get really into it..." I beamed, "No way. It was great! I loved hearing your excitement. That's the magic of theatre." Reaching into my bag, I smiled and thanked her for sharing her joy. Sometimes the best way to take care of yourself is to allow yourself to enjoy life with childlike wonder. The Eternal Sandwich. A forgotten wallet leads to an opportunity to bless an angel. Lines were long, the person behind me had only a couple items. "Would you like to go in front of me?" "Oh? Yes! Would you you mind? Thank you!" As he took his place in front of me, he turned to thank me again. I smiled as I noticed the two waters he picked to accompany his sandwich. The label read Eternal. As he went to pay for his sandwich, he realized he forgot his wallet. Embarrassed he started to leave. "Excuse me, Sir?" He slowly turned back. "Please don't leave. I've got you." Shocked, he replied "what?". "I've got you." with card in hand I motioned so I could pay. "....Thank you...I have so much on my mind right now, I forgot my wallet. Thank you." Bold Angel in a Bold City. "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." there are those who buy and sell houses and then there are angels who help people and animals find and create homes - the difference between the two is striking. Positively Swearing. Recently, a angel gave me a cool 3D pen confessing when stressed, she loves to doodle swear words in beautiful cursive. As I put the cookies in his hand, he said "oh I couldn't. They are meant for someone else." "Nope, they are for you. I packed an extra bag just in case." "My mom makes these, with the fork marks just like this..." He said gently.

She's Halva Gal. Diane has dedicated her life to helping our community members obtain social security disability after a major illness or injury. "Imagine". Our elder neighbor loves and cares for the wildlife in our area. We enjoy watching his interactions as local wildlife obviously loves our shared space. In my delivery note I thanked them for creating a "safe haven". Imagine my delight, when prior to even seeing the handwritten note, he said "I want you to know our home is a safe haven. If there is ever an emergency, you all can come here. New neighbors can be scary, but I can tell you're good ones!" "Mr. Roger's Proud." A couple weeks ago, we stopped at an estate sale. The family was handling the sale themselves. We bought a couple things, including a handmade house shaped frame, a crocheted heart, and a fire truck magnet. As we left, we gave our condolences to the grandson who was around our age; choked up he responded "thank you for buying my grandparent's work." Shortly after a fire alarm caused an evacuation of an apartment building where 3/4 of the residents are elderly. Everyone worked together to make sure that every person was out of the building, including the eldest resident. After a quick fix from the fire department, everyone was allowed back inside. We delivered these sweet little treats to each door and the property management. We made cards titled "Mr. Roger's Proud" using the little heart and firetruck magnet from the estate sale. It seemed like the perfect way to honor the "grandparents" whose handcrafts we purchased. Each bundle included hard cinnamon candies and a handwritten thank you note that read "Thank you for being our neighbor! It was wonderful seeing everyone look after eachother last night." Dr. S. For women with stage 4 endometriosis, this disease is debilitating. It can prevent fertility, require hysterectomies in your 20s, and require a host of reconstructive surgeries due to its invasive nature. Unfortunately, the hardest part of proper diagnosis and treatment is finding a doctor who specializes in it. They are far and few between, often requiring travel. On average women have 7-10 years of suffering and doctor visits with no answers prior to finding a super specialist. Dr. S is a leading force in endometriosis treatment and education. He has plethora of awards including "Most Compassionate Dr." Women fly from all over the world due to his expertise. He is one of the kindest, empathetic, intuitive surgeons. The Rotten Pair. When you are really lucky, the universe provides you with a kindred spirit, like Cheryl. Someone whose life path isn't exactly the same, but close enough there is a bond that requires no words because they simply understand. For years, we have admired her passion and hard work to bring music to our community, along with her relentless pursuit and support of our local journalism. Inside are 3 talisman that have special meaning to her - three metals two's. 222 the numerology for faith. "Oh I hope someone brings you a large coffee!" "Oh, I wish they would!" 2 doors down, I went into Whole Foods. Unsure of the store layout, I asked a young man for directions to the coffee station. He smiled and pointed across the store. "Actually that's my department." He quickly finished his chore meeting me at the counter. I told him the story, he broke into a huge grin going out of his way to be friendly and accommodating. I introduced myself so he would give me his name, then made my way to customer service to compliment him. With a large cup of coffee w the "fixings" on the side, I went back to the first store. The employee was so touched. The timing was perfect; she had just gone on break so she could sit and enjoy it. She asked if I would be extra kind and tell her boss; of course I said yes. While shopping, I chatted w a woman. We seemed to have the same taste. Laughing, we began shopping together. Janet has only lived here 2 months. After sometime we started to say goodbye, I reached into my purse and my hand landed perfectly on the envelope. I had found my angel.
