House of Hen Studios' Chili Wontons is a delicious fusion of bold flavors wrapped in a tender wonton, perfect for make-ahead and freezer-friendly meal prep. These spicy, savory bites combine ground meats, garlic, ginger, and Laoganma Spicy Chili Crisp, making them ideal for quick dinners, gatherings, or late-night snacking. Just boil, drain, and top with garlic chili sauce for bursting with flavor!

Chili Wontons

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Mixed Ground Chuck, Ground Chicken, and Ground Pork

  • 1 tbs and 1 tsp Laoganma Spicy Chili Crisp

  • 1 tbs 1tsp of Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Kikkoman’s Soy Sauce

  • 1 tsp Kikkoman’s Rice Vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp of Kikkoman’s Sesame Oil

  • 1/2 tsp Thai Kitchen Premium Fish Sauce

  • 1 tsp of Freshly Minced Garlic

  • 1 tsp of Freshly Minced Ginger

  • Wonton Wrappers

  • Garlic Chili Sauce (See Recipe)

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except for meat and wrappers.

Add to meat and mix well.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Place a wonton wrapper on the counter so it makes a diamond shape.

Place the meat mixture into the middle.

With wet fingers line the upper edges.

Connect the bottom and top corners, sealing the edges together, and removing all air.

Wet one bottom corner and connect to the other bottom corner.

Repeat the process.

Place Wontons a single layer onto parchment paper.

Freeze for at least 1 hour. (Storing for Later use? Transfer to a Ziplock bag at this stage)

Boil Wontons 3-4 minutes in boiling water (or until meat is fully cooked.)

Remove from water, one at a time, draining THOROUGHLY.

Top with garlic chili sauce.
